Hello and welcome to Top Gear!

I finally left WA and am in Queensland now. Managed to miss my flight and was actually drunk in a Perth pub when i should have been flying over here so i had to kiss goodbye to $500 for a new flight, never again.
Queensland is awesome, ther weather is perfect and the atmosphere is great, first stop was Cairns which is a really cool town and renound for its party scene but as id lost myself the 500 i didnt party as much as id have liked, spent most of my time there either chilling or organising my travel southwards, i also booked my self a boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef whioch was wicked, the boat was slower than the average duck but thats what you get when you book the cheapest trip there is, we still got about 4 and a half hours of snorkelling at 2 different reefs and they were both amazing, i rented out a underwater didgital camera for the day and have myself a CD full of pics from it.

I left Cairns after 4 great days and jumped on the Greyhound bus down to

a place called Townsville for the night just to break up the journey abit really, there isnt alot happening in Townsville and most people only come by here to visit nearby Magnetic Island but i didnt have time. The next day i was back on the bus and arrived in Airlie Beach which is a really cool little place and also the place to be if you want to visit the Whitsunday islands, spent one night in Airlie and boarded my 3day / 2 night sailing adventure to the islands and found myself in a really good group of people who all got on really well and had a load of fun, the idea was basically to chill out and drool at the scenery but we also did some more snorkelling here at some really cool reefs with more fish than ive ever seen before, we also did a short walk to a viewing point of Whitehaven beach... yes thats right Whitehaven which is the exact oppisate of the dump near home, its basically paradise. The trip went way to quickly and was probably the highlight of my travels due to the people and scenery, we had a mucho enjoyable

piss up the night we came back to Airlie which i dont recall much of and spent most of the next day chilling by the beautifull lagoon in Airlie, everybody pretty much left for new places the day after we finished sailing and i was no different with a torturous 13 hour overnight bus journey to where i am now Hervey Bay. Head off on Monday for a 4wd drive adventure to Fraser Island which should be good. Only got 1 week left in Oz and looks like am doing the best bit last which makes going home seem even more depressing!

Ah well... sh*t happens!
