Well its been and gone!!
Hello,
Well for the people we have not seen or if you want to know what we did in our last few days keep reading!!
Ok i think we left you guys in Jasper so... from Jasper we started to head back to vancouver a different way to which we came.. our first stop was a place called Mcbride where we stayed on a small campsite which was owned by a English woman called Tweasle (i know parents were hippies i think!!) there were only 5 site and it was litterally her garden we were staying in. The toilets were pit toilets, awful smelly little sheds which were holes in the ground!
Twealse had 2 dogs (Poppy and Rosy) which lived outside and patrolled the grounds to keep out bears and wolves the other week they went walking with a couple and scared a black bear into a tree so the couple could walk past.
We left Mcbride and went to Prince George.. Weird place it litterally has tumble weed rolling through it a complete ghost town as you can imagin we kept driving until we came to a tiny camp site
owned by a german man right on the river. He was a really nice bloke and a great character, also had a huge dog which looked like a bear but really friendly (Hayley). From there we carried on going towards Vancouver to the next town.. which was Quesnel we stayed at a place called Dragon lake and went fishing on a canoe lets just say that was unsuccessful!! Next stop was 100 Mile House and i have never seen so many lakes there was even a lake called Chris lake!! we stayed on a lake called Horse lake where we took a power-boat out and could not believe how fast it went..well i say fast it was 15 horse power..but it felt quick..Chris was singing the theme to bay watch around the lake.. Brilliant (some people stand in the darkness while others step into the light)!! again....unsuccessful!!
We drove quite a way down to Pemberton (just above Whistler where thay are holding the 2010 winter Olimpics) we stayed in a goverment owned campsite and got savagly attacked by mosquitoes!! Chris had a swollen ankle for the rest of the trip from them!!
The next day we drove into Whistler
its a really pretty town but of course expensive..must see though!! We drove to a campsite in Squamish we were only going to be there for one night but was advise to stay over the weekend as it was the bank holiday weekend and would find it impossible to find some where to stay!! we are glad we did we met to great guys.. richard and mark and we spent our last 3 evenings with them on the last night they cooked for us and we can honestly say it was the best salmon we have ever had!! will also add THEY WERE NOT GAY!! (i think they will appriciate that comment they BOTH had wives). Oh yeah chris went fishing at the campsite at caught a fish!!! (a dolly varden a cross between a salmon and a rainbow trout!).
We then did our final drive to vancouver and took our car back and went to our hotel..
our flight back home was......... how can i put it......... awful we were just coming into land nearly on the ground and then we were off again apparently there was another plane on the run way a kid in front of
us puked up all over the seats then when his dad opened the laggage store above him the bag hit the boy split the bag open and it went over him haha!! so we were 30 min delayed and we had no sleep and no leg room got to heathrow and we can honestly say it was the worst airport we have ever been to! luggage every where!!
Any way are back waiting to sort out are cars!! and then the dredded job hunt!!

Welcome Home
What has happened to the blog? As you said it seemed to crash but following your latest addition it not only seems to have been recovered but also includes one or two entries we've not seen before. Anyway we are very pleased you are back safe and well. The last bit of your journey looked great what with the visit to the lakes and bay watch boating. Glad to see from the picture of the grizzly that you figured out how to use the repellent. Will be very interested to see your future blogs and catch up on all the wild life news and travel escapades in and around Biggin Hill. No doubt a visit to the fish counter in Tesco will bring back fond memories of swimming with dolphins.
