What A GiftWhat A GiftWhat A Gift

Barbara Lee (Christine's Mom) from Michigan, sent a box of story books. Enough for each child to have their very own!
Recently, I realized something has been missing from the primary school - The LOUD, CONTINOUS sound of children’s laughter. What a wonderful, heart lightening sound.

I’ve set aside a few of the “sports items” which were recently donated. Placing them in a basket I’ve assigned one boy to distribute and collect them daily during morning breaks. Oh what a wonderful sound there is when the entire school goes out for “recess”! It now REALLY sounds like recess. I hadn’t really realized anything was missing in the past. They’ve always enjoyed recess and have their own local games that they enjoy and play. But now there is a continuous roar of laughter as they come up with new games and fun things to do together.

Though the many “gifts” are not for me personally, I am personally and so totally blessed by them.

All the Wonderful North Dakotans who donated items - THANK YOU.
Joel and Cori who made such an effort to get things donated and delivered-
THANK YOU
Kathy Wiltse, Thank You for your attempt at Pistachio Pudding!
Dara, I wish you could see your jump ropes in action! Even Kirk is making use of them. THANK

They're just too strong! They don't fall down. Even when Praise is sitting on their back!
YOU!
Annie, Thank You for sharing an entire year of your “life”. You would be so proud of how well behaved Praise is and how much he is learning.
Mom, THANK YOU for the box of books! Enough books for each child to take home their very own book. Hope you have received the short video of the distribution. What joy!
To EVERYONE who has sent markers, pencils, pens, paper, activity books etc, the list goes on, THANK YOU! We have a bountiful supply for next school year.
The thoughts and generosity of folks energizes me and spurs me on!
Now if someone can just figure out how to package up and send a TEACHER! (smile)

The Lord Bless You All
Christine
