OK so my 8 days in spain has come and gone, now back in London like I had never left. Spain was awsome! The weather was hot the people nice, and Summercase (the music festival) was probly one of the best music festival I been to, there were I think around 60,000 people with about 5 big stages. It was held where the Barcelona olypics were held @ Parc Del Forum which is about 5 mins out of central Barcelona.
I arrived in Barcelona on the Tuesday and pretty much just sat by the beach did lots of walking and sight seeing and drunk 1lt glasses of beer. On the Friday I met with a couple friend from London who came just to go to the summercase festival for the 2 nights. Thos two nights we hired a 4 star hotel and lived in luxury for a couple nights, which was a good change from some of the dodgy hostels I had been staying in.
Also on the Thursday night I went out with a couple australian girls I had met in the hostels who I happened to recognised from my days working on Hamilton Island, I never was
friends with this girl but we both knew who each other was. Anway cut a long story short she ended up loosing my wallet! Yep I shouldn't of been suprised this sort of thing happens to me all the time! But this is a first for a wallet, normally it's my phone! She didn;t know how she lost my wallet or weather it was stolen or not but it's gone. I lost all my credit cards, id's, return bus tickets home, my U.K sim card ( so you all cant call me for a while till I sort out my number back again, should only be a few days ) and about £50.00!!! So I was pretty much up shit creek at this point. My phone had no credit and was going flat, I didn't know how I was going to get money. Anyway its a long painful day of calling banks and trying to get emergency cash using reverse charges at payphones but it all worked out, lucky this was the friday when my friends were coming to Barcelona so all I had to do was wait till later that night where I was able to borrow enough money
to last the rest of my trip.
So that was the worst day, the rest of spain was great, spent most of it in Barcelona, went a few hours south on a train and stayed out of Barcelona for a night which was pretty good.
Finally got my first tan which will probly fade in a few wees so making the most of that! Anway check out some of the pics and movies of the festival!
Also a few weeks ago they found a few car bombs around London, one being about 500 mtrs from my place, ever since they have been on high alert so everything suspiciouse is potentially a bomb. Anyway they other night they closed of our street for a few hours because of something. Nosey me took a few pics just incase I could get some good pics to maybe sell to the BBC of some news paper! HAHA

Spain looks good
Firstly sorry that has been so long since I have made a comment !! Photo's of Spain look great and as always I love reading your blog and looking at your photo's. Must admit I'm getting worried first it was the phone's then the wallet next thing !!!! Pants !! so always make sure your belt is done up tightly !!!!!!!!!!
