Well, we finally arrived in sunny LA at around 12:30pm today. The flights were pretty good...Brisy to Auckland was GREAT as we were on the big 747 jumbo...but from Auckland to LA we had the crappy 777 - a much smaller plane in comparison. The flight was packed and there was quite a bit of turbulance. Still, Iz and I managed to get about 2 hours sleep.

The check in process at LA is pretty crazy...had to give fingerprints and get mug shots. It took us over an hour to get through all this protocol, before boarding our speedy shuttle out to Anaheim...or as Izzy spells it Anehime...hehe.

The weather here is BLOODY HOT! We went for a walk around Downtown Disney at 3:30/4:00pm and we were sweating it out. It's now 6:30pm and the sun hasn't even started to go down yet. I think the long days will be great for our Disney visits!

4th of July should be HUGE!! Fireworks start tomorrow night at 7:25 and we've been advised to get there early as the crowds will be big. Disney is open really long hours, from 8am till 11 or 12pm, so we haven't planned our day out tomorrow yet. Looking forward to a lovely sleep tonight to catch up for lost sleep last night.

Well, that's all from the travellers for now. Just wanted to send a quick word through to everyone that we are safe..both our phones don't pick up any networks here, so we can't text you yet. Will report back again after Disney Day One. Bye bye 😊

G'day from Eyre!
Great to hear arrived ok in USA. Dad cannot believe you didn't enjoy the 777 he thinks it's a great plane, very long. I was always worried it would never get it's tail off the ground. The rellies here tell us queues will be horrendous at Disney World, so hopefully you're all prepared with food, hats, ipods and plenty of fluids(Have to do the mother thing). They have all been both Disneyland and Disneyworld here, so it'll be interesting hearing your comments. David is taking us out to morning tea today at a "swanky"(Belfast for posh) Hotel. The main highlight of our trip so far is the food. I don't know a country that has so many breads, potato, soda, treacle, malt, wheaten, crunchy top so on and so on...and this is pre Brumbies!! Margaret and family are off to Turkey on mass(there's 10 all up going), temperatures there last week were up to 47degrees!! So we have to mind there other bungalow this week. It's still pouring rain here with local flooding, wettest June in 50years. So hopefully it will have rained itself out by the time you guys hit UK. Well that's all for now, thought I would get the comment thing going, have a great (independance) day, Keep Safe...Love Mummy and Daddy
