Yeah, you're jealous.
We have been in Seward almost a month and they still haven't figured out how to put my mail in a PO Box. I always have to wait in a long line to get it general delivery. Alaska is not the land of convenience, which i guess is okay, especially since I live in a town without a Macdonalds. How many people can say that? Sam and I have been busy. Sam now has a job too...poor guy. He is deckhanding for a fishing company and I think he likes the learning experience. I could deal without the man coming home smelling like dead fish. Things are great here all the same. We are busy and happy and most importantly, stress free and living in the present. It feels good just to take the day in instead of waiting for tomorrow. The only bad part is that I'm homesick for VT a bit. Missing those Dearborns and Kinseys awfully bad. The ones

Sam, Eyal, and I hiked up Exit Glacier. We got to see a grizzly bear and two cubs, but the pictures didn't turn out. It was pretty far away, but still too close knowing a.) the bear is hungry from hibernation, b.) there is no cage, and c.) it can run much faster than you.

This trail is located within walking distance of our house. Doloris, Eli, Erin, Sam (taking the picture) and I. Once again, very tuff; Alaska style.

Actually, we haven't gotten to the lake yet. The lake isn't the only thing lost.
