Pippi Hendl hi you guys,
hope everyone is well..
we are very proud to announce that after 32 days of solid walking......WE HAVE ARRIVED IN SANTIAGO!
and yes we are still friends 😊
it has been a pretty incredible journey for the two of us so we had mixed emotions on arriving yesterday and have really come to appreciate the basics in life such as;loo paper,hot water,a good night sleep,sunshine and red wine!! oh...each others company also...we have met some great people of late including 5 kiwis from devonport who basically became our camino parents which was rad and we all walked into santiago flying a nz flag!!!since arriving.exhaustion has caught up on us but nevertheless tonight we board an overnight train...destination Lagos,Portugal for fun in the sun and some well earned r and r.After 5 nights there we gap it back to Valencia to watch Team New Zealand bring the cup home.We are fortunate enough to have accomadation there with pips mate jeff clark who was working for oracle.Here are some photos of the last leg of our walk...Hope you enjoy

this was a really cute sign in the middle of a tiny spanish town
apparently two people did the walk, fell in love and went back to this abandoned village to build a hostel for the pilgrims but with not much money and two young children they asked out for help...cute story ae..

Hey guys, WELL DONE we are so proud of you, and jealous of the beautiful place you have been traveling around. What a fantastic experience.
