At Last

Hi and sorry for the tardiness to all who have been waiting with bated breath for an entry!! yeah right! I have a very short time on here so I'll summarise and elaborate later!
It's been an intense couple of weeks and I've not had time to find a computer! Won't be able to include pics as most hotel and parc computers don't allow it!
Well, we made it from brisbane to cairns and beyond. Singapore was as expected, very hot and very westernised! Parts like china town and little india were more interesting and worth exploring.

Arrived in Brisbane last Monday week and it started raining on Tuesday and cont for ist 2 days we had the campervan. not a good intro! the locals loved the rain though as there's a serious drought. It rained more in 2 days than it has in 2 years.
We had a great trip up the east coast and it got drier and hotter the further nth we went. Driving the Bruce Highway is easy if boring at times loads to see and met lots of interesting folk!

Got to Cairns and on to Port Douglas in a week. don't have time to fill in details as hotel receptionist is waiting to go home but will update asap hopefully with pics!

Most importantly, I snorkeled at the great barrier reef yesterday! I was an amazing experience! In Cairns for the night after returing the van and flying to Uluru tomorrow morning! The receptionist is glaring so have to sign off!
