Its Friday! Not that the days mean much to an unemployed bum like me but I’m sure y’all glad it’s the weekend.

Friday also means coffee day, might try a Starbucks today, as much as I hate the whole corporate coffee chain thing I’m dying for a decent cuppa.

Went for a run yesterday sad I know but it felt great going for my first run in almost 3 weeks. Didn’t really know where to run to so just kept going, mostly along the road, ended up in Salford Quays which is sort of like the Claisebrook area of East Perth but with a million more apartment buildings and cool attractions like the Lowry gallery, outlet shops and the Imperial War Museum.

Also ended up outside the Man U stadium (yeah sorry Adam, but I’m sure you were chuffed they lost to Chelsea even if the match didn’t really count).

And yeah I’m sorry, another band! Last night’s band was Band of Horses, a really cool indie/folk band from the US. The band played a lot heavier than n their records and their appearance (beards and tats) seemed at odds with their music (on CD summery/California

style rock). But they were awesome and no laptops!

Hans, a German guy staying in the same room as me was bored so decided to head out with me to see the band, he seemed to like them. After the gig we went to a local pub for a few drinks and then Hans had it in his head to go for more beers so we went walking to find somewhere and stumbled upon this strange little club were all the cool kids obviously hung out. There were two DJs playing some wiked tunes and lots of dancing, didn’t stay long but had a bit of a boogy.

It wasn’t that late a nite but had a great time and it was nice to be able to party a bit and not be some strange loner!

Nothing planned for the weekend at this stage, will have to check out Pirates of the Caribbean at some stage and I’ sure I will end up seeing some band or another. Oh and its about time I make a decision on a room, two weeks is long enough I think!

Have a great weekend all.

You're not!!!
OK..you know the story, keep a tally on how often you need to explain it! I'd do it, but logistically...it could be difficult!
