Tonight is our last night on the Emerald Isle. The sights have been amazing, and the people have been great. The locals have been more than accomidating, some going out of their way to help up. One woman at a bus stop ran into the store we were in to alert us that our bus had arrived. A repair man ran after us to give us some eye drops from his first aide kit when the store we were in had none. Its been everything that I've hoped for, and am sad to leave it behind.

I didn't find a shilelah though, just painted sticks. Maybe I expected to much.

On to Istanbul!

What's a shilelah?

Shillelagh
I spelled it wrong. It was the weapon of choice of the Irish common folk in the 19th century when the English forbade them to have weapons. It's basically a knobby walking stick that was used as a club or short staff.
