Paul Rubin Alright, so this whole Travel Blog thing didn't really work out . . . now my trip's over and I'm a month out of date. However for those of you waiting to experience an extravagant and ridiculously decadent European holiday vicariously through your's truly, I'll gradually post some pics from the various locales throughout the next week.

Let's see, back in Rome there was not much to report, I went on the same pub crawl again, and made sure I got my free t-shirt this time, also saw some more fountains, churches, etc. By the weekend, the self-funded portion of my holiday came to an end and 5-star company sponsored, tour-guided, decadence began. Finished off pretty much all of the must-sees in Rome as well with St. Peters, The Sistine Chapel, etc, whatever, just look at the photos, I'm never going to finish this thing if I keep waffling on.

Pope Paul returns to the Vatican
Here's me back in Vatican city (notice I've stopped shaving and therefore a thickening beard will be observed growing over the coming two weeks). Disclaimer, also I'm not really the pope . . . yet.

Bus Riding
My attempt to ride the bus in Rome . . . this was only moderately more successful then navigating on foot.

Donation Box
I considered getting rid of some change in one of these, however then I recalled the 9 Euro donation I made to a street vendor just outside the Vatican to buy a sandwhich and softdrink and decided against.

Attempted Night Shot
As mentioned, I'm not a photographer and as such, have next to no hope of taking shots out-doors at night. This was my attempt of a large crowd that I ended up amidst on Saturday night whilst out with some random people I met at my hostel.

Over the Pubcrawls . . .
I made some friends at the hostel and had a night out in Rome that wasn't on a pub crawl. Hooray!

Italian Coffee
Catching up with my mates from Brisbane - JP and Hayley in a cafe a ridiculous distance out of Rome . . . good coffee though.

Impromptu Birthday Cake
Hayley also had her birthday that night . . . hence impromptu Birthday cake.
