Pai , Mountains and motorbikes..

Well after partying hard in Chiang Mia we decided to got to the quiet town of Pia 3 hours drive up and down the crazyest roads to a village with one trafic light! (which they got last year!) well its remote and the power goes out everyday but its still full of people and the normal tourist stuff theres just no traffic or big buildings..

weve been staying in some bambo huts by a river ! there so cool and the views awesome but the amount of bugs plus the size is slightly worrying! theres flying praying matasis!

we rented scooters on the second day, pat crashed 10 mins later ! took lots of skin and flesh off his arm and leg spinning on the floor!! but hes ok and only goes to the hospital to get the bandages changed.. been doin that for 6 days so now hes guna do it himself which hopefully will be ok!


but after the first crash weve all been safe , went for a four hour drive off in a random direction the roads are soooooo steep and curvey its insane but you are goin up mountains!

its soooo nice out there !

the weather hasnt been so great.. well it rains every day, for about 1 hour or 2 really heavy!! but then it clears up and is hot again its only the mud roads which you have to worry about!


in other awesome news when in chiang mia i was sitting in the infamous reggae bar when a girl came over and asked if my name was luke and was i from brighton... it got a bit worried but then it turned out she was with a guy called woody who i had worked with for a few months at Legal n Genral!! hes just been teaching in china! so now hes joined our crew ! even though we just loast two theres now 6 of us going up to do the gibbon exerience in laos!

so everythings aweome except that pia turned out to party harder then chiang mia and relaxing has only been a dream! this is defainatly the place to come though !

next we head back to chiang mia and then to laos !!
