Oz people
Everyone on our Oz bus with the opera house in the background Well we finally made it to Sydney the place everyone thinks of when you mention Australia! It was a pretty amazing place, there was so much to see. We visited the Sydney harbour bridge and the opera house which are 2 of the most famous sights in Sydney. We also went up the Sydney tower which was good because you could see so much of Sydney, including Manly, the bridge, opera house, stadium everything. I bought a little Koala at the top of the tower and called him Karl he is my little mascot, he will sit in the campervan window when we go to New Zealand. We did a bus tour arround the city one day as well which was cool because it gave us some history of the place etc. Oh and they have a Hyde park here too!
We took the ferry over to see Manly because my parents had said it was nice over there. We saw the harbour, beach, and the market over there. We also visited the famous Bondi beach which wasnt as big or as busy as i had expected (although it is Autumn over here which is probably why it wasnt
Sydney Tower
Some great views from up there that busy). It was a nice beach though and we walked up to the lookout on the cliff. I was surprised how far from Sydney city centre it was i thought i would have been able to walk there but it took about 20-30 minutes on the bus.
We met up with someone Sarah used to work with that lives over here and he took us out in Darling harbour to some bars and a club - where he had put some people on the guest list that werent coming out so i had to pretend to be Georgina Allapedus to get in for free. Another night we went to the IMAX cinema which has the biggest cinema screen in the world it is 8 stories high, i think they said the measurements were 38 meters by 36 meters. It was good you actually felt like the screen was so close to you and it made the action shots so much more real - we saw spiderman 3 in there. Which i thought was quite good and amusing but the others were a little disappointed with it.

Cool photos
Hiya Debs. Nice pics! You're right - I do think of Sydney when I think of Oz. It's must be so good to have been there and seen all of the famous buildings and places. You look like you've picked up and autumn tan?! I did my ride, btw. 69 miles of very hilly riding! Take care, love us 5 xxxxx
