Hi everyone,

Well this is really a nice change from my adventures trekking around the globe... picked up Redina from airport on thursday evening and brought her down to Playa del Carmen, about an hour south of Cancun...

We stayed overnite and then went back up the coast to a place called Puerto Morelos, had a nice lunch at Mama's Bakery and lay on the beach... I got a much needed haircut, and we went back to Playa and had an incredible lobster dinner!!

Slept in this morning and then jumped in the car and headed further south to Akumal, which is just before you get to the ruins in Tulum... it is off-season here and we got a 2 bedroom HUGE villa right on the beautiful sandy beach that is $340 US per night in regular season, for $110 a night!!

There are all kinds of really interesting places to see and things to do... the weather is awesome, around 33 degrees daytime with some nice breezes...

Anyhow, hope you are all doing well, and take care,

Cam and Redina
