Cascade Pass
Melissa taking a break on a rock outcropping near Cascade Pass. It's exciting to see and hear the glaciers as they move and crack and grind their way down the mountains. Since my photos are on my laptop and Melissa's photos are on her laptop we have to make one entry each to upload photos. So, I apologize for the duplicate notices you will all get each time we update the site.
As you know we spent a few days in the North Cascades of Washington. Something Melissa failed to mention is that Sasquatch, aka Bigfoot, is a resident of these mountains. I hoped our wildlife spotting luck would carry over from the griz and that we would run into an equally "friendly" Bigfoot here, but it wasn't meant to be. However, my beard is getting longer and by the end of the trip I might be able to pass for a not-so-big-footed Bigfoot.
So, here are a couple photos from our travels here in the Cascades. I would have more photos to share but my f*&%ing camera has gone on strike.
This is a very cool area and one I would love to further explore on foot with a 65 pound pack strapped to my back. We will be back. Until then, I hope you enjoy the photos!
