Hi everyone,
It´s Thursday again....
It´s Thursday again...
I keep having the same day over again... actually it is now 3 in the morning on Friday, but what a day yesterday... I got up at 6:00 am to catch flight from Sydney, Australia to Lima, Peru and as noted the flight was delayed -- didn´t leave until 3 in the afternoon -- 3hr flight to Auckland, New Zealand and then an hour layover -- back on the plane for 13 hour flight to Buenos Aries, Argentina -- crossed the international date line and got back most of the day i have been gradually losing as i have travelled eastwards... flight delayed in Buenos Aries for an hour or so, and then 5 hours to get to Lima, Peru....
Confused yet..?? I have been on 3 different planes in 4 different countries flying for about 22 of the past 28 hours and i dont think i´ve seen a bed for about 36 hours!! Got a flight booked out of here in less than 3 hours to Cuzco, which is the town where the Inca trail trek to Machu Picchu starts... will get lodging there, catch up on my sleep, and hopefully get on the trail Sat or Sun morning...
Actually feelling not too bad, and looking forwards to getting back into the mountains.... had lots of time to figure out stuff walking around on the planes...
In past 31 days i have touched down on 6 continents... 12 takeoffs, 12 landings... 9 countries, lots of taxis, subways, trains, a ferry boat, and a jet cat.... i´ve completely circled the globe, been above and below the equator, and actually started going around for 2nd time when i reached east coast of South America in Buenos Aries, before bactracking to west coast here in Lima...
Will be flying up to Cancun in a week after i get down from the mountains to meet up with Redina for her 2 weeks vacation -- and then on home to see you all and rest and recuperate from this adventure... (and find a job to start paying for it all 😊

Hey I didn't even know you were gone on the trek of a lifetime...I might be having feelings of envy or something..and I laughed at the reference to Groundhog Day..out loud...and hard!! Hope that day at some point ends!! and I have no idea how this whole blog thing works so maybe you get this, maybe you don't....maybe it floats around the world of blogs for all to see ??? :) have a great trip, me and Janice will book the table at Boston Pizza for your return so you can regale us with your tales of adventure...take care, be safe...L
