Yesterday we drove into Rome, it is an amazing city, full of so muh history. It was a full on day. We left Florence early in the morning, got to Rome and due to a train strike had to walk 45 minutes to the Collossium. In 35° heat it was a killer. Then we went on a 1.5 hr walking tour around the Collossium and surrounds, so interesting! I just wish I knew more about it so I understood it all a bit better. Then we took another walking tour with our tour manager and some great sites. By the time we got to dinner we were buggered. Then we had another walk to get back to the bus and to our campsite, we crashed pretty early that night.
Today we went to the Sistene Chappel and St. Peters, that was mind blowing, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was great. The last 2 days have been so much walking I'd kill for a foot massage. And as much as it's been tiring, we've been loving the 35° days. So...what's the weather like in Canberra? :-)
Tonight will probably we another night of drinking, so I'm going
Trevi Fountain Rome
Me, Dana and Amy at the Trevi fountain. We threw in our two coins, over our right shoulder, one coin for luck the other to ensure our return to Rome. to go have a nap soon. Rach, if you want to book that liver transplant in for me that would be great, thanks! The next time I'm online I'll add more photos, we have heaps but it took ages to upload last time I did it.

Nice weather in Cyprus too
It is hot in Cyprus too! Sorry Canberra but your turn will come. Love the diary so far - worry about your liver when you get back. (did we really say that?)
