Josie, Me and Nicola
Me with the Morgan girls - aren't they gorgeous! I've hardly been in South Africa and I alreayd have to leave, that makes me sad. I''ve had such a wonderful time here, I love this country to pieces and I wish I didn't have to go so soon.
I have been staying with my Aunt Anne since being in Durban which has been lovely. She has the most gorgeous Pikinese (sp?) dog who had a fascination with my left foot, bless her. And a lovely cat who was very put out during my stay, as I had stolen her bed.
My first night I just spent relaxing and then had a lovely long lie in the morning. Then we tried to go on a karkloof canopie tour, which is a big foife slide (yes they are called that, it sounds like foo-fee) through the canopy of the forest. Unfortunately we didn't book and by the time we got there the guides had gone home. It was still a beautiful place and I got to see a beautiful waterfall. I wish I knew the names of these places!!!
Then we went out for dinner with Robyn, who is Annes neightbour, we were originally going to go for Greek but ofcourse it
Baby Gecko
In ma hand! I still haven't lost my childhood knack for catching Geckos!! was closed so we had Thai food instead. It was very nice.
The next day I went to Ushaka marine park which was lovely, I got to do soem hopping and had a quick paddle in the sea, oh I had missed the Durban waters. I also got to see my grandad, only for a quick visit unfortunaely but it was great to see him. He complains of being a bit forgetful, but I told him that he is 97 and he is doing incredibly well. Anne said he perked up immensly when I came and we were smiling and chatting. Unfortunately I didn't get to see Lindiwe which woul have been great, I haven't seen her in so long! I also would have loved to meet her children - especially her albino child called Pinky!!! Also she is getting married! How lovely for her.
Then that evening I went to Nicola's house and had dinner with her, Russel and Josie. It was great seeing the Morgan Girls, I had definately missed the distinctive Morgan laugh!!
But unfortunately this trip has been far too short, I wish I could stay longer and see people more but now I'm off to
Me and Opie
