Labadee Haiti

This was RCCL's private location in Haiti, which I was sort of wondering why we were going there; but I must say, it was a lot better than the "private islands" I have been on with other cruise lines. I had got plenty of sun so I tried not to be out in it too much, but we had a good time in their "city". I think the most memoriable was walking through the markets. They were VERY VERY pushy!!!!! and that is saying it nicely. Mark had already run out of the market once because he just could not stand it and I have to admit, it was bad. Being me, I talk him to going through the other side with me and when the one guy asked him, "How much you give me for this (walking) stick?" and Mark said, "You do not me to buy that from you otherwise I would be hitting all of you over the head with it until I broke it!" The funny part, I think Mark was serious!

Dragon's Point
Or it may be Dragon's Breath, but it was cool as the waves would come in, it made this "dragon" sound. I tried to catch the waves and I really like my new camera I got in Switzerland, but this seem to be the best one.

Ice Skating
Believe it or not, there was even an ice skating rink on the ship.

White Party
Everyone had to dress in all white for this theme. We took these pictures on the bridge with the blue/purple type lighting.

Last Supper
We had a great time. Here was our last supper, pizza, as we sailed back to Miami.

Wow, you look marrrrvelous in the picture where you are dressed all in white. My friend at work, Beth, says so too. I think she may have gotten a little too excited. I reminded her that you are, um, unavailable.

Yes, that was the for the White Party theme night on the cruise. Not trying to brag, but I too thought I looked pretty good...lol Thank you and please also tell Beth thank you for the compliment!

While in Labadee, did you know or hear of a rock quarry? I'm wondering if it is an active quarry.
