grey skies in germanygrey skies in germanygrey skies in germany

I just took this picture from my balcony. These are the grey skies I will leave behind soon!!! yeahhh LOL
today is an incredible day. Not because anything really big happened today but now I really feel like time is racing and so soon I will be on the plane travelling with highspeed towards my beloved egypt/Mid. east and my dear friends I will meet there!! I've just been scrolling through previous entries I made on this site, especially the ones I wrote before I travelled to the middle east the first time. 5 days before my departure back then I was quite anxious because I was travelling into the unknown with many discouraging me to go there at all. But now its like visiting a place again I learnt to love so this time I really really really enjoy all the preparations. When watching the german sky from my room I smile... not because it's sunny. Rather the opposite. Its grey, rainy and cold! And at the same time the weather in Egypt is so pleasant! It won't be fiery oven weather like in august 2005 but at least still warmer than here. Even though there are parts of the area I haven't been to yet so this will be a nice mix of sightseeing, experiencing/exploring cultures and spending time with friends.

Until friday I still have to endure at school. Usually I love what I'm studying but now as the trip is so close all I wanna do is taking off right NOW. hehehhehe

As all of you know life sometimes throws things in our way that make us loose the smile and some of you know that I was feeling a bit down lately. I recently started to feel a bit better thanks to Jehovah, but also preparations for this trip made me feel so much better. It was like a strong sun breaking through grey skies giving me no other choice but to smile 😊 I also picked up my visa for egypt from the consulate today so hopefully this time there won't be any troubles at the egyptian/israeli border 😊

On sunday I will do the evening check in as my flight is going to depart on monday already at 6:10 am. I will spend the night at the place of 2 good friends who will bring me to the airport in the morning. So in a way my vacation starts already on sunday.

On saturday I'll be at my meeting for the the last time saying good bye to my friends. We just had a great service week with the c.o. but unfortunately I missed the saturday talks as I was sick with flu. I'll get the recordings on tape on saturday.

Anyway.... now its only 3 and a half more days 😊

Have a nice trip, dear friend
Hey, Nicola. I want you to enjoy this trip fully. Take so many pictures and talk to all the intersting people you find, specially our brothers from Middle East. Let Jehovah be with you in this adventure where you will appreciate his creation and the places where many of profecies were written and some biblical events were developed. I will not miss any entry of you travelblog. Have a great trip, Nicola. Hugs.
