So Canada is more than a little strange.

They drive on the wrong side of the road - I let them know and I convinced them as well. I told them that the Japanese make cars especially for them, not one of them has been smart enough to point out that the Europeans make cars especially for us.

They dont have round abouts. They have Four way stops. They give way to the right? Freaks.

They have no floor drains in their bathrooms. Not in a house not in a hostel not in a hotel. I assume that nothing is ever spilt on the floor, nothing overflows and they are completely dry upon exiting the bath or shower. I have not mastered this yet and am stuck with a wet bathroom (oops washroom) floor.

They dont really have meat pies. I could really go a good maggot bag. They dont have beetroot on a works burger. They dont have Charcoal Chicken shops. They dont have Tartare sauce on their chips - just the fish.

Escalators go the wrong way - they swapped the sides. What were they thinking? And they walk on the wrong side down the hall.

There are no buttons for you to press at a pedestrian crossing. They are automatic, though they do throw in the odd invisible button just to make things really confusing for you.

If you use a mobile phone (which they call a cell phone) you get charged to receive a call or text. Imagine trying that in Oz!

Cable TV is the go. But watching TV with a Canadian is impossible. They flick TV channels at a thousand miles an hour, so I am never entirely sure what I am watching. They listen to their music the same way as well. - Infuriating.

They live too close to the Yanks so consequently cant make up their mind what system of measurments to use. Officialy Canada is Metric but it doesnt happen. Cars are made in the states with miles an hour speedos but the speed limits are in K's. They talk about weight in pounds. Bottles come in Fluid ounce amounts that are converted into milllilitres, you end up with a bottle of Coke that is 1.79 litres or something stupid. Some bottles have both measurements. People talk about temperature in Fahrenheit although on the weather channel and official sources it is given in celcius.

All through Canada products come with labels in both French and English and all signage is bilingual as well. Of course this does not apply in Quebec. If you go Quebec you had better speak french because that is the only language any signs are in and the only language spoken. You can take the Frenchman out of France but you cant take France out of the Frenchman - arrogant bastards!

So thats about it from me for now. Oh I have lost a bit of weight, I am down to 92kilos or is that 203pounds? oh crap i just dont know anymore............
