Big warm Ciao from the city of Roma! Well we have made the first city in our Italian journey with no major complications. Except maybe if you can call a Gelato shop next to our B&B a "complication". As a matter of self presevation, Michael and I have agreed to keep to a one gelatto a day commitment. Unfortunately one gelatto in this city involves a cone and about 3 scoops of some of the most delicious ice cream ever invented. Flavors in ranking that I am in love with so far Nutella, Pistachio and Peach. This only because I have not tasted all of the available flavors. But not to worry, this is a task that I look forward to completing with relish before the end our Italian vacation!

On the tourist front, we have hit most of the major attractions including the San Pietro, Colosseum, the Plaza Novana, Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain. In general, soaking up the ambiance whenever we can and drinking Chianti along with it. All in all a crazy four days but we are looking forward to our next adventure in Naples. So for now an arrivaderci from the Warmingtons....

I feel like I'm there with you!!!
OK, Maybe not RIGHT there, I don't see a gelatto in my hands. :( Thanks for putting me on your update list, once I figured out that this wasn't spam or phishing, I have thoroughly enjoyed your updates. That music festival sounds like my idea of heaven, mud and all. Looking forward to your next adventures!

Don't forget the vino roso!
It's cheaper than water. Another good excuse to have it with your gelato every day. I finally figured out travelblog wasn't spam and now I am throughly enjoying the views! So proud of you guys for taking the plunge out of the ordinary and living large! You won't regret it!!
