SO- today I am having a really really tough day, man. The spanish thing is really hard and I feel like I will never get it. I try to have conversations and nothing comes out... OR I am in class and the teacher is correcting every single word I am saying. It really really really sucks. I feel worse today than I did a week ago, but maybe it is just that with every day that passes, I gain more insight into what I don´t know. I find myself wanting to speak English more and more, simply so that I can express what I am thinking and feeling rather than talking about the weather, how tired I am, and what I did last night or this morning on the walk to school. I mean, really, no one cares about that stuff.
Anyways, yes, I am just having a down day and hopefully I will feel better in the next few days? I think I need to move on from Antigua now and make my way either traveling or to another town for more Spanish. They say that more than 4-5 hours a day is all you can really handle, but

Where we study in the mornings/afternoons- it is empty right now for lunch of course I am pushing myself to learn more and maximize these intial weeks on the trip. The afternoons are spent with one-on-one conversation with my teacher at the school. It is much easier to practice with someone who is willing to correct me when I say things completely backwards. I can only hope that more is sinking in than I think is!
Here are some more pictures that I took last week of the school and around Antigua. It is a quaint little town and I am starting to run into friends at different spots around the city.
