Hey all

So I'm sitting on the couch with the flu and though it was the perfect opportunity to send a blog.

So, appart form the flu, things are going great (arnt they always?). I've finally slowed down on the work front and now just do part time instead of 7 days a week. It feels wanderful. I even got down to Vancouver for 4 days last week and saw the Canucks play (a huge vancouver hockey team) which was not as fun as i though it would be I have to say. Seeing as I dont know the rules or players I wasn't feeling much love. Plus we lost. Badly!! Bit At least I saw them and got a T-shirt out of it. the night out after was much better.

Xmas and new year went well. As guessed, both nights were filled with friends and booze. Not nearly as bad as my birthday ie. no puking, bit were filled with good cheer and fun antics. Its was deff. strange not being home for these special occasions and I missed you all greatly, but in great experience. I was still getting prezzies though the post at the beginning of Jan. It was like xmas all over again!!! - Hey mum, there were deff. some benefits to receiving your prezzies late ;-)

For those who dont know, I have a small travel detour in the works. We actually in 2 weeks (yes that is correct - 2 weeks, 14 days exactly) i have a summer vacation to Perth in Australia!!!! 5 glorious weeks. Aahhh..I cant wait. i'm now countain the days, not weeks. I am, of course, heading over there to see my man Tom, hang out on the beaches, do a little surfing (or try too), a little snorkling.. I just need the sun!!!!! dont get me wrong, I love the snow and boarding - when not sick- but man, sitting on a white sandy beach topping up my non-existant tan is as close to heaven as I can imagine right now - insert Tom here.

Anyway, I hope everybody is doing well. Its weird that I'll be back in 3 months. It feels like I just left. Time really does go quickley when your having fun.

I know you have all been waiting anxiously for some pics of me snowboarding so I have included some but only if you all promise not to laugh!!!

I hope to hear from you soon. You know how i like to keep up with the goss.

WOW!!!
It looks so cool over there, am a little jealous, the closest i may get to snow is gonna be scotland in a couple of weeks!!!! You look pretty good, am impressed though not surprised. Hope you have a brill time in Australia topping up you're tan, sorry seeing Tom, say hi from me!!!

I'm just a newbie to the web, learning to surf(or board) as it were. I just love to see this kind of stuff out there, there is way too much negative energy available online and this is definitely positive!
