Pizza Pere Noel
Courtesy of Eviline... Well, what can I say but I had the best New Years I think of my life.
After the incredible day snowboarding, I came home to a huge dinner prepared by all the girls (i felt a little bad having snowboarded all day with the boys while the other girls cooked... but not TOO bad! haha), and 12 of us again sat around the make-shift table in mine and my roommates room. After gorging ourselves and cleaning up the kitchen, it was 11:40 when we all finally piled into 3 cabs and booted it for the center to catch the fireworks. Well we got there just in time (unfortunately losing 4 people though somewhere along the cab ride), and caught the countdown and redicuous fireworks displays! Not only were there the big fireworks from the castle, but everybody was shooting off their own in the middle of the HUGE croud as well! Bottle rockets, screamers, and even full blown fireworks were going off litterally right beside my head! So scary but SO much fun!
After the countdown, lots of kisses and bottles of champagne being opened, the bands started playing again, so we rocked to a couple slovenian and
Croatian bands in two of the main town squares. So great...
Anyway, I don't have much more to say except that it was definitly the most rockin' new years I've had. I'd recommend anyone to spend new years in Slovenia! Enjoy the photos!
Love you all,
Mel.

Fun!
It looks like you had (and are having) the time of your life. The pictures are great, they show the atmosphere of excitement and joy. What I really want to know is - were you not listening when we read Time for a Rhyme? Love you, love Mumsy
