Day on the farm...
Hands on approach! Then it was back down to the capital city Montevideo to stay with my brother were we took the oportunity to see most of the sites, restaurants, of course the NIGHT LIFE! With him and the extended family...
Had the chance to stay for a few days with my lovely and funniest cousin MARIO and wife Fab who showed us a great hospitality. Jam packed 4 days with them, no stone was left unturned!
Hopefully one day they'll visit us down under, you'll love them!
We were lucky enough to get the opportunity to go to the Gold Coast of Uruguay 'Punta de Este' where the rich and famous of South America spend their summers!
Top location, ocean views, huge apartment for us and my lovely parents! Beaching every day, black as in no time, just what we wanted.
Visited the port, Conrad casino and hired some bikes to check it all out!
Time to chill and get away from everything, and slow down the pace for a while...
Only 2 hours away by coach but a world of difference!!
After a relaxing week of sun and sea we are back in capital city for more family time and

Jos and I have been loving the food here, it tastes all that better for some reason, tried all traditional meals, and DRINKS. Put on a few kilos but thats holidaying for you.
Took Jos for a walk down memory lane (primary school, high school, and the area were I grew up) my old house, more a shed than a house. Makes me think even more how lucky I´m to be living in Australia. The country itself has changed, not for the better...

Hi Guys, Hope you are keeping well. All the photos look great we are all very envious.Weather very cold here in North Wales. Jordon just arrived home for Xmas, wish you were here to keep him in order.Joel and Sara send their love they have just gone out to the 147 club. Hope you both have a fantastic Xmas and new year.
