...again, not this time with the gorgeous dean (who i miss very much 😊) this time its with the beach on ko phangan where we''ve been hiding out for the past 5 days, we weren''t hiding on purpose just with no pay phone or mobile signals and internet being triple the price (hence the lack of blogs) you could easily just lock yourself away from the world. I think it was thong noi pan beach ( i cant remember the exact name and nats on the other side of the room so i cant really ask her) anyway, it had a long sweeping curved beach, white sand and turquoise sea, the beach was sprinkled with shells and framed by palm trees all the way along, really gorgeous.
The place consisted of different groups of huts with restaurants along the beach, then one supermarket and that was it really. The weather was brilliant for the first two days, bright skies and lots of sun, the first night we stayed up til 1.30am just sat at the bar watching the waves, we had to go to bed then because the people from our bar were going to the half moon party, after 5 chang beers and nats 5 vodka red bulls we thought we''d give it a miss and called it a night😊.
The third day and the following days until we left it was just rainy and windy and even had our jumpers on at some points...i finished one and a half books because there really was nothing to do, it went quickly though, the only thing was, was we had to spend more time in the hut than we''d wanted (i didnt like the hut). it was only 20steps to the beach and the setting was perfect..but... there was vinyl wallpaper and flowery ceiling tiles.. with the door closed it felt like you were in a caravan! also it had a strange foisty smell..which we didnt find out where it was coming from. I liked it even less when we ventured into the bathroom...the toilet was half a mile away from any walls in the middle practically (slight exageration), also no flush! it was like being back on the trek and the shower just soaked everything,which was cold! it makes my toes feel funny talking about it i can feel the cold wet floor, ergh, i didnt like that. Nat kept reminding me tho we are backpackers and it could have been alot worse...true 😊.
Anyway we just had a lazy few days, even raining it was still beautiful, we had a pet dog too. She just started following us one day then before we knew it she joined us for all our meals, walks on the beach and slept outside on our veranda 😊. she was black and white with pointy ears and a waggy tail...strangly tho when she was around us i seemed to get lots of bites! hmmm... im thinking fleas, anyway, they''re going down now and she did keep us entertained.
It was a really lovely place, if they had a cash machine i could have stayed for weeks 😊.
I think we ended up with free food and drinks here (again) because we kept a tab of the meals we were having but when we came to pay, it was considerably less than we''d been expecting (we''d spent quite a bit on the first night, nats expensive vodka red bulls). we happily paid tho and then off we set to phuket......

HIYAAAAAA Just me!! Glad you are having a fab time, miss you lots! Went to the metro today an found a nice little shift dress from my trusty shop Oasis (got sum shoes too hehe!) Its for my xmas party on Thursday , hope its a gd night cos we are heading into town after it. Not too sure if im driving yet or if im just getting taxi n stayug at someone house (not like that b4 you get the wrong idea). Tonight im showing mum n dad the room I like in hpool - 2 girls from first yr or in the house n then Sara from my year. Would rather live with someone who I know rather than by myself. Nice to see you have some rain too p- its bloody freezing here, must be minus!!!!!!!!!!!! Took me 20mins to de ice the car b4 heading to the metro, wasnt happy with that. Well thats all thats happeneing at the mo! Blog soon! Love n hugs Me xxxxx
