Thai massage and temple time

after all that beach time we thought we better get into a bit of the Thai culture and head up North to see some temples and do some other cool stuff. lucky for us, a good friend of mine Joy volunteered her family to host us while we were up in Chang Mai, so we were made feel very much at home when we showed up and ended up staying the better part of a week with them which was fantastic. we got to have a good look around town, saw some beautiful temples, got a Thai massage(painful at times but really good), did a cooking course, got some christmas shopping out of the way and ate a lot of very good food with the Couch family. tomorrow we head up to Pai for some elephant fun, but thankyou so much to Jim and Lois for making us feel so welcome and looking after us so well, Merry Christmas to all of you and hopefully we'll see you again soon.

these guys are missionary friends from HBY who we got to stay with in Chang Mai for almost a week. they really looked after us and fed us up good so me and Steph cooked them these pizzas one night to say cheers. Thanks again for everything guys, Merry christmas and we'll see you again soon. and hoepfully next time I'll catch a glimpse of the elusive Joy :) have fun in Burma!!
