Holy S—T! Woke up this morning to snow! This trip has been continuously full of surprises. At the sight of the snow Ray and I knew that Diane would be catatonic about our switchback drive back down to Chur. It was however, a beautiful sight looking like a Winter Wonderland. Fortunately the snowfall stopped after breakfast so we were on our way. The clouds had begun to lift, and the scenery was amazing. I forgot to mention that during the snowfall large groups of people from the area headed out to go hiking. These Are truly hardy people. There were so many Kodak moments during the trip down, that I finally had to stop myself from taking any more.

The road travel today after coming down from Arosa was all highway and it almost felt boring after yesterday’s journey. Ray, however, loved it. Can’t say that I blame him after what he had endured thus far. We arrived in Strasbourg at around 2:00, checked in and freshened up before heading out. The hotel parking garage was full, so we were left trying to find a parking garage. After about an hour of driving over and around the streets (including heading the wrong way on a one way and meeting a tram), we finally found one. Ray immediately started looking for a place to have a drink. Can’t say that I blame him as just being a passenger in that traffic was stressful.

We then headed to the center of town, near the cathedral, and found a little restaurant to have a drink and a little bite to eat. Headed back to the hotel for a short rest before leaving for dinner. We went to a little local place recommended by the desk girl. Food was just okay, but the service and the wine great. Leaving there, went to the parking garage to get our car. We were going to move it to street parking near the hotel, as it’s now free till Monday morning. Got to the hotel and could find no empty spots. Roamed a few streets, but no luck, so we went back to the garage and left the car. The only good thing is that we’re getting better at finding our way around.

Okay, we’re done the blog and exhausted. Not going to title all of the pictures tonight. If you want to know where they were, ask me when we get home.
