Saturday 29 July 2023. Day 13 on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Solva to St Davids.

Alltrails app. 2 hours 45 minutes walking. 5.54 miles. 692 feet elevation gain.

Garmin forerunner 25. 3 hours 4 minutes. 6.05 miles. 754 feet elevation gain

Our hosts at Roch Castle gave us a wonderful breakfast send off. Frank's Taxi formerly St David's taxi picked us up and shuttled us back to Solva for our start of today's walk.

The tide was out and the boats resting on their keels, rudder guards and stabilizers on the harbour bottom.

Gary was ahead and walked an additional mile before catching a path back to town. Jo, Chuck and I met Deb as she was walking into town from the hotel Twr-y-Feline to meet Gary at the Cathedral.

We got back to the hotel around 3 but still waited until after 4:20 to get to our rooms.

Dinner was elegant dining at 6 at the hotel restaurant Blas.

We took advantage of the large bathroom with hanging space to wash out our walking clothes. They will have tonight and tomorrow to dry.

Wonderful photos Thanks so much for sharing. Big article in the Sunday NYT about how badly the inventory of subs has shrunken , due to age and poor maintenance and lack of parts, with new subs not coming on line as scheduled due to reduced funding.
