I had a wonderful time in Paris. I went with two friends, Kelly and Marina. We stayed in a hostel in the Latin Quarter that was pretty good, despite the 2 AM curfew.

I saw everything you are supposed to see in Paris, and then some. I really wish I could have traveled to other cities in France, but I just don't have enought time here! Someday I will definately return to all the sites in Europe that I just can't see on this trip.

The Louvre was, well the Louvre. Art that I appreciate but art that I don't really get excited to see. The Museum of Modern Art on the other hand was amazing. They had an exhibit up called "The movement of images" (only in French) that I really enjoyed. They also had a cool exhibit but on by FABRICA (my new favorite arts/comm. organization fabrica.it) that was very well presented and interesting. The Orsay was a great museum as well. Oh, and the Picasso museum was awesome too.

I love crepes, I think I ate at least one every day, as well as paninis. I can't wait to get back home and cook for myself again! I miss cooking and I miss my wheat crepes. And dinner, I miss cooking really good dinners. My senora cooks great food, but its usually the same kind of stuff and I miss MY cooking.

And eggs, I miss having scrambeled eggs for breakfast. And only eating what I WANT to eat, instead of having to eat all that I am served!

Anyway, back to Paris, I really like the Auguste Rodin gardens/ museum was great as well. Very romantic . . . Eiffel tower as well although my legs were sore days after because of all the stairs we climbed!

The churches were beautiful, Notre Dame and Sacré Coeure and Sainte-Chapelle.

My favorite spot was this cinema house/cafe I found on the last day I was in Paris (Kelly and Marina left Sunday morning but I stayed until the evening). I saw the movie "The science of sleep", which was wonderful and I drank some really good hot chocolate.

I also went to this jazz club one night called Le Caveau de la Huchette where I had to dance. It was really funny, there was a dance floor and all of these

people were dancing, and dancing amazingly well (especially for some of them because of their age!). Each one of us got asked to dance by this same old man and it was super funny. I kept trying not to burst out laughing because I had no idea what I was doing.

Well, I will upload some pictures, but then I really need to go running because it is gorgeous outside and it will get dark soon!
