are we there yet?
we left on a friday night to catch the manila-banaue autobus (+63 2 736-2831, 735-8096, fare at that time is 342.00)............ the travel time to banaue took longer than we expected because the bus we were in suffered from overheat condition................ we arrived at banaue in the late morning of saturday............ there were no longer jeeps that would take us to bontoc ( these jeeps are only available at specific times and our bus arrived way too late)when we got to banaue so we just hired a van to take us to bontoc (2 1/2 hours).............. but before we head to bontoc our driver took us to some view sites of the rice terraces at banaue and he dropped us to a restaurant somewhere in banaue so we could eat our lunch.................. again we encountered some problems because we had a flat tire (how lucky can we get? :p)........................ the driver is supposed to take us until sagada but because we had a flat tire he doesn't want to risk going to sagada because he no longer have a spare tire in case we had another flat tire............................... so when we arrived at bontoc we took a jeep that would take us to sagada (45 min.-1hr, fare at that time is 30.00).................

sagada atlast!
the first thing we did when we arrived at sagada is to check-in at st.joseph's inn................. we just rested a little and then we went to the municipal hall to register, we also bought some maps (i had a simple and a colored map of sagada :D).................. after which we proceeded to our tour (st. mary's, hanging coffin, echo valley)................

the next day we hired a guide for our caving (guides for caving is a must) ................ we went to sumaguing cave first then at lumiang cave...................... after caving we had our lunch at yoghurt house (i like their yoghurt, it's different from what i'm used to)................. we went to some other sights after lunch (sagada weaver, bokong falls, masferre, cross of calvary)............... we also went back to hanging coffins and i went back to st. mary's to take more photos..................it was a very tiring day.....................

bye sagada
we had to catch the 5am lizardo bus (fare at that time is 180.00) to baguio so we woke up very early.............. i have never been so afraid of the "bangin" in my whole life............... try riding a lizardo bus sagada-baguio and you'll know what i mean...................... when we reached baguio we just ate our lunch and off we go to take the victory liner (+63 2 833-0219 to 20) that would take us to manila.....................

sagada, is one experience i would never forget....................

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE SAGADA
FRIDAY EVENING WENT TO AUTOBUS TERMINAL INQUIRED IF THERE'S AN AVAILABLE BUS SEAT FOR 2000H SCHEDULE FOR BANAUE. I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET A SEAT FOR THE BANAUE TRIP INSTEAD I TOOK A BUS TRIP FOR LAGAWE. DEPARTED ESPANA AUTOBUS TERMINAL 2130H BOUND FOR LAGAWE. 0600H SATURDAY MORNING ARRIVED LAGAWE AND ADVICED BY THE AUTOBUS CONDUCTOR TO WAIT THE BANAUE BOUND AUTOBUS. PAST 0700H AUTOBUS BUS BOUND FOR BANAUE ARRIVED. WE ARRIVED BANAUE FEW MINUTES BEFORE EIGHT IN THE MORNING TOOK SOME MINUTES SIGHTSEENG. WAITED MINI BUS BOUND FOR BONTOC. DURING OUR TRIP GOING TO BONTOC ALONG THE ROAD YOU'LL SEA A VERY BREATHTAKING SIGHT OF ITS SOURROUNDING ESPECIALLY THE ALMOST SKY HIGH CLIFT THAT YOU CAN NOT RECOGNIZE THE HEIGHT OF THE TREES DOWN THERE. YOU'LL FEEL THAT YOU'RE FLYING WHEN YOU SEE BELOW THE CLIFT. ARRIVED BONTOC 1330H PROCEEDED TO BONTOC MUSEUM TAKE SOME MINUTES READING THE BONTOCS HISTORY. IT COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT THE BONTOC'S TRIBE ARE SO VERY FIERCE FIGHTER THAT THEY WILL CUT THE HEAD OF THEIR LOSING VICTIMS AND CARRY THEM LIKE KILLED PIGS MINUS THE HEAD. AFTER FEW MINUTES TAKE A PASSENGER JEEP FOR SAGADA. (ADVICE TAKE TOPLOAD SEAT FOR YOU TO SEE THE FASCINATING SIGHT.)ARRIVED SAGADA REGISTER AT THE MUNICIPAL HALL TAKE A GUIDE FOR (p400) FOR A SUMAGUING CAVE ADVENTURE.
