Our day started out good enough. The morning walk was through rolling hills of mostly shaded trails. About the time we reunited with my pack the day was really heating up. I was elated to have my pack back; my feet and back needed time to reacclimate. I was doing okay until the path became unshaded on an afternoon that reached 80 degrees. And then we ran out of water. And then we got a bit lost. I hit the proverbial wall. But much like I learned on my last walk across Spain, the camino always provides. Scott walked ahead to make sure we were headed in the right direction and came back with water. We made our way to what would be our home for the night which turned out to be one of the coolest places yet. A true oasis. After a shower and rest we had a wonderful home cooked meal with a great group of new friends. It all turned out well in the end.
