Tough Day
September 19th 2018 Our day started out good enough. The morning walk was through rolling hills of mostly shaded trails. About the time we reunited with my pack the day was really heating up. I was elated to have my pack back; my feet and back needed time to reacclimate. I was doing okay until the path became unshaded on an afternoon that reached 80 degrees. And then we ran out of water. And then we got a bit lost.
