Well so much has happened since we left Perth, that I've forgotten a few things. (must be the old age). Well we travelled along the coast road to the Pinnacles just south of Cervantes. I've been here before, but just like so much of the rest of the country. Just how amazing these sandstone pillars are. Next day saw us stopping at a friend of Wendy's in Dongara to drop off a few items which she has had for a couple of years. We were given a tour of his toys in his sheds. Tractors and trucks of all kinds including a few old cars. From here we drove north to Geraldton then onto Kalbarri Where we sighted some Humpback Whales. As I was eager to get to Exmouth we bypassed Shark bay and Monkey Mia. And headed further north to Carnarvon. Last time we were here we had some of the best Fish and Chips I've ever tasted, so we wanted to give them a second try. Not sure if it was the expectation or the two year interval, but they still tasted great. Camped at Point Quobba Blowhole. Next day we arrived in Exmouth Where I secured a berth on the same boat as my previous attempt at seeing Whale Sharks. This one was a freebie due to not sighting any last time. I had a wonderful time and yes even saw some large fish.(Whale Sharks). My first swim the whale shark disappeared so quick I saw a tail. My next time the instructor was lining us up as you are not allowed to go within 3 metres of them. She then said Kim stick your head in the water stick your head in now. So I did and right in front of me was a huge mouth which could of swallowed me whole, but it was an amazing view.Only trouble I had to get out of the way quick as his path was right through me and he had right of way. by the time I turned around he was gone. After lunch we swam on the Ningaloo Reef for a short spell then came home. The next day we took a drive to Cape Range NP. It was raining on the return back to camp. So I picked the right day to go. From here we headed towards Karijini NP. (next chapter)

PS. My apologies for no photos from Perth to Exmouth I seemed to of misplaced a HD card. I think there was some old photos on fb from 2 years ago if that helps.

Qubobba
We camped at Quobba too I know I am talking years ago but it has brought memories back to me Kim. We were travelling with another couple at the time and she was frightened her husband would go off the cliff. He was not as sensible as Ron I knew he would be ok. All those places we stayed. Didn’t do the whale shark thing though hope you and Gordon ok. ❤️Betty
