So when we got to the bus station in Guyayaquil, it was super busy, there were so many people. Even before we went to buy our tickets, like 10 different people asked us if we wanted a ride, yeahhhh kinda sketchy, but we got a direct car ride with a nice couple from Guayaquil for like 13$ each, the bus ride was like 5$ but yeah we wanted to get there ASAP... so they took us there in like 2 hours, kinda psycho driver... but yeah it was pretty OK. So as soon as we got there... me and Darren looked for a hostal, I wanted one on the beach so we took the first one we could find. So that night we got some food, drinks and so on and we partied on the beach. But what we didnt know was that there was like a whole other beach on the other side of the town, that was like the main beach where everyone was. haha but we still had a great time!!!! The next day we spent all day on the beach, although it wasnt very sunny, it was still super nice out. We played in the waves like all day, it was kinda like the best thing in the world. My first time in the Pacific Ocean. I was pretty excited about that. So that night we partied like there was no tomorrow. Montanita is Canadian central. We met so many Canadians. Even a couple frenchies i was pretty excited about that. I miss French. Seriously, Montanita and Guayaquil, best weekend yet in Ecuador. Sunday, different story. I was soooooooo hung over! Oh my god. I got out of bed cuz i was so hungry but when we finally got to the restaurant I couldnt even eat, I took one bite, ok ME, not eat! Thats so not normal!! Especially on hang overs I eat like a huge pig. But yeah, that was not good, but we had to take a bus from Montanita to Salinas (another beach) and that bus was full so we had to stand up for most of the bus ride, but i finally got a seat, after like 20 minutes, thank you god! And another bus from Salinas to Guayaquil (about 3 hours), and then from Guayaquil to Quito (8 hour bus ride). So when we arrived in Quito, I missed the first stop to the main terminal in the South, cuz usually they make two stops, one in the South and one in the North (closer to where I live), but aparently they werent going to the North, so I missed my stop and had to leave the bus in the middle of i dont know where, in shorts, alone, at 4h30 in the morning.... skeeetttcchhhyy! And freezing cold, holly i was thinking in my head, this is where I die. This is it. But then I got a cab, thank you sweet lord. So I finally got home, took the best shower in life and went to sleep until like 11h. I usually have a In Company student at 8h30 in the morning, but he called to cancel, my life is good. So here I am, safe and sound, not tanned, but still had the best weekend ever. So im pretty proud of my first trip to the beach here in Ecuador.
