Hi everyone,

We woke up to another day of cloud and rain but luckily by midday it began to improve. We can now see the mountain. Hooray ! a couple of times the sun struggled to shine and gave a cheeky preview of how attractive the view might be tomorrow ,if we get the weather we've been promised. There is an aboriginal centre just around the corner ,so we booked in for a short show about aboriginal music and a little of their customary rituals. Next we strolled down to the view points, where we met with rather a large group of camera wielding Asian people taking photos .Today I decided it was puzzle time for you all. There is one particular photo which I will endeavour to label, which I will call" where's Wally" ha ha. It's quite easy, he's the only person with grey hair. I also thought I would take a few nature pics. I love close ups of unusual flowers etc. Probably not as sharp as Pats pics but not too bad. Actually my close up of the mountain was complimented by Pat. I' ll keep trying. Just shared a Devonshire cream tea. Not as good as

Pat's new look !
Devons own but still very nice.

Having a bit of down time then off to explore the nearest town called Katoomba. We passed through yesterday on our way to the hotel. It looked quite unusual. It may be where we eat tonight. May be a bit better price wise than the hotel.

Katoomba
Sorry that you had rain but the Aussies will be glad of it as it has been drought for months. We had a thunderstorm when we were at The Three Sisters - very dramatic! If you have time do go to Lovett's Leap which is near Blackheath. The views are spectacular!

Katoomba
Last comment should have said Govetts Leap not Lovetts! And if you have time the Jenolan Caves are the most amazing I have ever seen! xx
