Wentworth falls
Hi everyone,

Last night Pat and I stumbled across a rather quaint little restaurant called Yellow Deli. Not sure what food to expect we took a chance. Everything was homemade and natural. It was run and owned by a community called Twelve Trees. They reminded me of quakers. We had a very pleasant time. They have similar restaurants In other countries and are soon to open one up in Honiton Devon.

Hallelujah! Today we had sun. The Blue Mountains are beautiful. Just around the corner to our hotel is a scenic railway and cable car. First we climbed into a railway carriage with a load of Chinese schoolchildren from Canada. They were extremely friendly ,quite funny and very noisy, especially as we were on the steepest railway ride in the world Which went pretty fast downhill at an incline of 52 % great fun though. As we walked through the forest we saw two Lyre birds ( who swore blind that they weren't) lol.The walk took us through some lovely vegetation and allowed us some wonderful views of the mountains. After returning on the not so exciting cable car we headed for Katoomba town.it is a town that feels like

it has been left behind in time A little old fashioned and tired but with a lot of character.

Spending the night at a hotel at Sydney airport ready for an early flight to Alice Springs should be warmer there.
