HI,

I wish to travel from Bonn International Airport to Frankfurt International Airport. As I have flight that comes into Bonn from Prague. You guessed it there is no flight from Prague to Frankfurt on the day I need.

http://www.bahn.de/p/view/index.shtml

The website German Trains shows a service between Bonn HBF to Frankfurt HBF (MAIN). I assume this service is from the main train station in Bonn to the main train station in Frankfurt. My question, is there a train service from Bonn International Airport to Frankfurt international airport direct , please advise and thanks.

Or do I have to get a train from Bonn Station in town to Frankfurt station main.

I am just trying to avoid taxi fares etc ... Reply to this

It appears from DB's site that there are trains between Bonn and Frankfurt airport - but you will need to change trains once or twice - there is no direct service. When searching the English version of the site, just write the word "Flughafen" (Airport) in the search engine as well as the respective city. The normal fare was 58 Euros, and the travel time was approximately 90 minutes. However, the price dropped to 42 Euro for the two and a half hour journey time. Hope this helps. Reply to this

You can travel by train between both airports, but you'll need to change at least once.

DB timetable

It becomes much more scenic, cheaper but also slower, if you opt for the Rhine valley route. Give Koblenz as a via station.
