as i'm a bit concerned about a report on a hotel I am about to book. Do they write them themselves or are they really from holidaymakers ?

Reply to this I haven't used that site before, but I would definitely double check against another reviews site. If you find a hotel that looks interesting just do a google search for reviews of it. I noticed that there weren't more than one review for each hotel and the reviews were very brief. The more sources the better 😊.

BestofEurope.org Reply to this I hate peer reviews. I don't know if they are realiable or not. In fact a few weeks ago NY Times did an article about how a lot of the reviews are rigged and not accurage. I refer more to the major periodicals and newspapers. I've used www.eatsleepgo.com a few times - they seem to aggregate reviews from the magazines (though they don't have all of them) which is useful.
Reply to this On of the most popular hotel review sites that I know of is tripadvisor.com but they are generally a little rough on mom and pop joints but its more useful if you read reviews put on the site by people who travel similarly to you(like I read reviews by the younger crowd rather than business men).
