Travel buddy in India and Nepal.
Hi!
Im off to India on the 16/3 and would be more than happy to spend some time travelling with others who maybe lack the confidence to travel alone or simply fancy tagging along with a 35 y.o layed back English guy with plenty of travel experience behind him.
Im going to be in India for around 6 months (I intend to travel out to the Andamans too) and then eventually make my way up up to Nepal in the process. Im quite an avid photographer, so if you are too, that would be a bonus.
If anyone just fancies meeting up for a beer or spending some time on the road with me, then feel free to drop me a line 😊

I'm 52, and I'm heading out to India on March 16, first to Mumbai. I have done some independent travel in eastern Europe, Argentina, Mexico and Morocco, a total of about 5 months worth. But I would not call myself experienced. I am intimidated a bit by India, but then that is part of why I am going. I do take lots of photos, though to call myself "a photographer" is a little overstating it. I am in contact with several people, one of them on this site, and I suppose I will catch up with one or more of them at some point, but I would certainly consider traveling with you for a time. I'm not sure how to do it here, but how do we trade email addresses privately?
My itinerary is NYC to Mumbai arriving the evening of Mar. 27th. I'm trying to score a CouchSurf for that night so I can perhaps get picked up at the airport. Adfter that I am considering heading either south around the horn, or north into Rajasthan. I plan to be there 3 months, but may extend that to 6 months.
Anyway, get back to me. I'll look here over the next week, before you leave. If you can, please write back and tell me how to trade email addresses.
