Two friends and I are planning to do the Inca trail around April 23. We have been looking at several of the tour companies and would like to get a 2-4 others to go into getting a private trek (with 5-7 people the cost is about the same as doing a group trek). We're in our late 20's and in pretty good shape so we would like a bit more of an aggressive trek than the standard, not talking about a death march or anything but with a small group of fairly fit individuals we could probably get a lot more out of the whole thing.

This is lisa, I'm going to be in cuzco around the dates you are, but am keen to go back to Lima and onto Huaraz to do some hikes there? Don't really know anyone in southamerica are you planning on doing other hikes etc around there? Would you be keen to meet up or something

Yes i´m currently tryig to organise hikes in huaraz too, will arrive there april 29th and have until may 16th. I really want to do the 10-12 day circuit cordillia huayhuash circuit supposed to be amazing, also i was thinking of hiring a porter-guide to do mt pisco both are recommendations from friends i hike with in tasmania australia, i hike quite a lot but never at altitude... well i leave for machu pitchu trek tomorrow 12the april then back in cusco, then to lake titikaa efore going into manu then to lima ad huaraz... yes i would definetly be keen to meet up and definently keen to hike in huaraz let me know, can you contact me directly somehow if you want to meet up
