I am planning to go to Turkey, the Greek Islands finishing in Athens, Croatia and Oktoberfest this summer and was wondering if anyone can help me with the logistics?

I am planning to go to Turkey, the Greek Islands finishing in Athens, Croatia and Oktoberfest this summer and was wondering if anyone can help me with the logistics?

I was thinking of getting a flight to Istanbul, touring around, getting to Athens via ferry through a couple of the Greek Islands. But then the tricky part...

How then, can I get from Athens to Split in Croatia, and from Split to Munich. I'm thinking trains but am open to other suggestions, and obviously I know I will have to go via other places and not direct.

If anyone can help I would be very grateful!

Cheers!

P.S. While we're at it, is anyone a master of Turkey travel? Because I'd also like to know how to get from Istanbul to Kusadasi. 😊 Reply to this

You could go - lots of long trips though - overnighters - eastern european train travel is cheap though - book in advance to get a sleeper ticket.

Athens
Thessalonkiki
Sophia
Belgrade
Split

I think!

I've been to both Istanbul and Kusadasi ad would have to say a ferry would be your best bet. Less headaches than busses and all that.

The ferries are also your best bet in Greece, use fast ferries when time doesn't matter, and regular ferries when you building flights into your schedule so you don't miss them.
Athens, Croatia, ad Munich are all major airline hubs, save yourself the time and look into discount airfares. Here is a LINK to an About site with alot of information detailing European Airlines and cheap airfare. Reply to this
