Hi everyone!
This is my first time posting a question here. Hoping I could get some input from many of you!
Last summer, I went backpacking around Europe by myself and enjoyed it immensely, so I am planning to go away again in May 2008. But I'm having hard time deciding where to go.
This time, I want to explore just one country (prob 1-2 cities), and right now I'm torn between Czech (Prague), Italy (Venice and Rome), Greece, and Israel... Can any of you travel gurus help me make a decision? FYI, I'm in my mid-twenties and always prefer hardcore thought-provoking experiences rather than leisure-oriented travel- want to save it for my honeymoon in the future 😊

Thank you in advance for your input!!

Hi there, Prague is a wonderfull city I love it and really romantic have a look of this Gude you can also find in this site cheap and beautiful accomodation. I'm Italian and I live near Venice that is for me one of the best city in the world, it' unique and you must visit one time in your life better for your honeymoon the same for Rome Reply to this

Hi Silvia,
Thanks for your input! If Venice and Rome are better for honeymoon, then I should probably go to Prague this time while I'm single 😉

I loved Prague. Very underrated and totally beautiful. Plus it is cheap! But italy, greece, and israel are also all worth seeing. I've been to all of these destinations. All are rich in history and culture and just have so many delightful idiosyncrasies. But Prague was my favorite city I've visited, I think. The rest of the Czech republic is great also. The Czech mountains are also very beautiful if you are an outdoorsy sort of person. There is also a church made out of human bones a few hours outside of Prague. Reply to this
