Looking for companion/s for Central/South America Jul to Dec 2008.

I'm a 27 year old Aussie female living in London and I'm planning a big Central/South America adventure starting in July 2008 and aiming to finish about Xmas 2008 before heading back to Oz.
Looking for like minded companion/s for all or part of the journey.

My name is Nikki I´m 23 and from Brissy Australia. I´m living and working in Buenos Aires at the moment. I´m planning to travel around in South America September till December and I am planning to fly home to Aussie for Xmas. I´m planning to go down south of Argentina first then come back up head north maybe through Chilie, I want to go to Peru, Equador, Boliva - not sure what else but at this stage I´m pretty flexible bout it all. We sound like we have a mirror image situation! Am a 27 year old Aussie, living in the UK too who has just had a friend bail on me and will now be going to SA in November for 8 months solo.
How have you found travelling on your own?

Not sure where you are now, but I am currently in the Lago Atitkan area of Guatemala. Were you planning on heading this far north? if so, please let me know. It would be nice to have a travel partner for more than a day.
