Hi guys !

I´m traveling to Stockholm for one hole day on 30th of Oct. as I say I have an hole day to see as much as possible I want
to see the city , museums and great sights !

I´ll rent a bike to be a little faster 😊 do you know if I can carry the Bike on the Subway ?

What museums would you recommend me ? Say for example 4 .

What Parts of the city should I visit ? Is the palace worth to visit ? And the "guard change" ?

Thanks for all answers !

You could go to the castle, it is quite nice from the outside, and see the surroundings of it. Definately walk through the Old Town (Gamla Stan), it is very picturesque. Have a "fika" = coffe or tea and some sweet cake at one of the nice cafés.
Museums... depends on what you like. Djurgården is an area which is nice, looks like the countryside in the city , it has a museum called Waldermasudde, I like.
Bike on the subway, don't see why you should do that. Use only the subway. It is fast, simple and safe.
I would suggest you take a boat around Djurgården, if they run at this time of the year.
Enjoy youe trip.

I agree with Eva, use subway and bus to get around. You can purchase a 24h card (90 SEK) for easy travel. Plus, depending on weather I imagine it could be a bit tortuous on a cold and windy day. More info about public transportation here.

So what to see then? Well, Gamla Stan, the old town, is definitely a nice place to experience. If you enjoy walking around without much of a purpose there are lots of nice areas to stroll through. Vasastaden, Östermalm or Södermalm for example. You should also have a look at Sergels Torg, a downtown hub of busy people on the move, and you will find lots of shopping malls and boutiques in this area, there is always something going on here. For an unusual experience, ride the subway out into the suburbs for a very different side of the city.

If you are interested in museums there is one which I consider essential; the Vasa Museum. I also really like the Aquarium. Check this page for more information on the various museums in Stockholm. Reply to this
