I'm going to study in Nizhniy Novgorod this semester and was wondering if anyone had been there...
I'm studying in Nizhniy Novgorod this semester and traveling around Moscow and St. Petersburg. I really don't know how much free time I'll have and I know what I want to see in Moscow and St. Petersburg, but I know virtually nothing about Nizhniy Novgorod and I was wondering if anyone has been there and could suggest any tips for visiting/living there, what to see, ect.

I haven't been to Russia yet so can't help but that sounds fantastic
Go visit Lake Baikal while you're there, it's supposed to be very special.
