Need MAJOR help with Athens!

Hi

I am flying into Athens on the 20th May for the Champions League Final, though I dont have a match ticket...I understand the stadium is 25Km from Athens....

Does anyone have any information to share as to budget backpacker lodges, transportation and good places to eat/drink in Athens as well as any accomodation near the stadium?

I am flying into Greece with ZERO information or knowledge..
