Madrid, Barcelona Advice

I am traveling with my wife and another couple to Spain for the first time. We were looking for suggestions on accomodations and adventures for Madrid and Barcelona.

We are so excited to see the great country of Spain. We were hoping to hear others experiences and recomendations for staying in Barcelona and Madrid that were economical but fun (such as castles and pensions). Would anyone be kind enough to share their traveling adventures and hidden jems to stay with us? We are most interested in places around 100 euros for doubles occupancy Reply to this

sorry I don't know about Madrid but I found this company Holiday Velvet They have hotels and good apartments for less than 100 euros. My advice would be to stay around the Gothic Quarter as it's central and has loads of atmosphere. It can get pretty busy but it's well worth it especially to be near the port. You could also try barceloneta for some real authenticity. Donit forget to go to la boqueria which is a wonderful market just off Las Ramblas. Reply to this
