Help and ideas for 8-10 weeks road trip in a camper van through Italy, Croatia, France, Spain, Portugal and Holland.
Hi!
My boyfriend and I (23 & 24) are planning on going on a road trip in July 2016 for around 8-10 weeks. We have found a camper to rent with wicked campers and we will be picking it up in Rome, Italy. We are planning on going to a music festival in Pag, Croatia for 5 days from around 19th July. So the trip so far is...
Rome, Italy (stay for 2-3 days sightseeing)
Venice, Italy (Stay for 2 -3 days sightseeing)
Pag, Croatia (5 day festival)
After this we wish to travel Croatia for around 7-9 days before heading back to Italy passing Milan to reach southern France. We then wish to drive around the coast passing Nice, Marseille and aiming towards Barcelona. We then to carry on to Portugal, through to West France, over to Paris and then finally heading to Amsterdam.
I apologise the descriptions are quite vague, we would be grateful for any tips, advise and experiences in a road trip like this.
We have never done this before and Im quite the one to plan ahead so would really love to have a base plan with influences from people who have experienced something like this.
We would love to know about places to visit, prices in the areas mentioned, nightlife, festivals, prices on polls, rules on camping and any other things you will think is useful!
Thank you so much in advance.
I look forward to hearing from you 😊

In Italy consider adding Florence to your plan, its a beautiful city, you can easily spend a day or 2 there.
